Cherry Berry Quick- Steps
That's what I'm going to be having tomorrow after all of the damn Cherries I ate today. My FIL had a man come to trim the fruit trees in the back yard and i went over and picked the shorn limbs clean of cherries. They also had a ton of baby pears cut off... too bad, they would have been really tastey once they were full grown and ripe. So many beautiful fruites down the tubes. The cherries were just starting to get their blush and in another week or two would have been absolutely perfect- but my pleas to hold off a week fell on deaf ears (I had a RUDE adjective in mind but deaf will do.). No matter, the sour cherry stage is fine too and after all, beggers can't be choosers. Here is the artsy fartsy photo I took of the few I have left...
I propped the few ripe ones to the front... and I ate those first!
